Hi Bill…I always listen in the morning for the table topic question but my mornings are rush rush and I don’t have time to call.
So e-mail is great, after work.
I think the best board game is scrabble. Even kids can play as soon as they can spell (with help from the elders) of course.
It is not only a game of chance but teaches so many other skills it is impossible to list them all.
Loving the board game Sagrada. It’s a dice game where you build stained glass windows on templates. Super neat. c;
Is it Monopoly?
I love three, 5 crown, sequence and crokanole
Monopoly’s a classic, but we play Cribbage now.
I have to agree with a few people here.. Mexican Train….
Going to stick with Cribbage . . .

“Kill Dr. Lucky” is a board game my daughter introduced us to recently.
It looks deceptively easy, but the moment you try to “kill” him someone yells out that they can see you and thwarts your attack.
Snakes & Ladders, Trivia (is this considered a board game?)
Good old Monopoly in the card form. Way quicker and tons of fun.

Our whole family loves playing board games! We love 💕 2 board games in particular “Mexican Trains” and ” Hotels” an old game from the 1990’s.
My husband says Monopoly, but it is not my favourite – he ALWAYS beats me!!
“Uckers”
Just in case you’ve never heard of it:
Uckers is a board game for two to four players traditionally played in the Royal Canadian Navy. It is similar to Parcheesi.
