Remembrance Day is this coming Saturday. In advance, The Rotarians, along with the QB Legion have set of a field of crosses in memorial of those from the Oceanside and surrounding area who gave their lives for freedom. The crosses were set up and a ceremony featuring students from Qualicum Beach Elementary took place Thursday. The crosses remain this week to give you an opportunity to reflect and remember. Friday there will be a candle light vigil, beginning at 5:30. The field of crosses is next to the train tracks on Memorial.
