As we draw closer to Canada day on Saturday, it’s time to feature another Canadian Artist. Sarah McLachlan started life on the east coast of Canada and now resides on the West. Along the way she has written and sung many memorable songs which have given her substantial success both in North America and around the world.
Not only a talented musician, Sarah is a philanthropist, supporting Animals through the SPCA, Music for children via the “Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach” and Sarah McLachlan School of Music, and numerous other charitable organizations. She is also the founder of Lilith Fair. 12 Junos and 3 Grammy awards are just a sample of her professional achievements.
