Lounge Artis Of The Week August 14: Robbie Robertson

We were saddened to hear of Robbie Robertson’s passing last week at the age of 80. His achievements were remarkable, from high school days fronting “Robbie and the Robots” to writing and playing in The Band, and backing folks like Ronnie Hawkings and Bob Dylan. He collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, like U2 and Eric Clapton. Creating music for record and film, popularizing “Americana” while never letting go of his roots as a First Nations artist. We celebrate Robbie Robertson, the Lounge Artist of the Week.
