I was lucky enough to hang out with some very cool people this weekend, who are part of Operation Freedom Paws Canada.
This is an organization that helps pair veterans, 1st responders and civilians experiencing PTSD, with assistance dogs. The dogs they use are also rescues.
It’s a unique organization in that they also assist civilians, and there is no cost to the recipients, as they do a LOT of fundraising. If you are inclined to help, or would like to know more, I think it’s a pretty worthy cause.
